Beyond the picturesque kite surfing in the ocean and the relaxation offered by any of the four swimming pools, the culinary journey here is a highlight unto itself. From the buffet-style breakfast featuring a diverse array of fresh fruits, muffins, croissants, cereals, yogurts, and a full English breakfast, to the exquisite three-course meals, every meal is a celebration of flavors. The food here isn't just about sustenance; it's an exploration of Zanzibar's rich culinary heritage blended with international tastes. The sushi restaurant, deserves a special mention. It's not just the best in Zanzibar, but some of the most incredible sushi I've ever had. Each piece is crafted with precision, balancing traditional flavors with creative flair. Couple this amazing food with the strong wifi, perfect for video calls and remote work, and the carefully curated playlists at the bar that provide the perfect soundtrack from morning till night, and you have a truly complete experience. It's a perfect 10/10 for me, and I would eagerly return.

My family recently enjoyed a stay at Dhow Inn, and we couldn’t have had a nicer time. Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, pools felt very private and well-maintained, beach location was idyllic and the service was perfect. Rooms were very spacious, clean, well appointed and with comfortable beds. The excursions we booked through the hotel were also great - we snorkeled with sea stars, visited monkeys in Jozani National Park, and they even helped arrange our safari in mainland Tanzania. I hope we can visit again soon!

Everything was perfect and beyond. It was our honeymoon, couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The staff is so so friendly, they do everything they can for you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is extremely clean, they literally clean like 3 times a day. Complimentary water and coffee in the room which we loved. Great location. The pools are lovely and also very well maintained. The beach is breathtaking. The nearby town is such a vibrant place full of culture. We even visited the local school just about 100m from the hotel. I wish we could go back really!

We liked the room with pool on the terrace was gorgeous and intimate and quick to access. There is many nice pool to this place that can never get crowded. We liked the service of early and late check in as allowed and the invite for the special dinner on the new restaurant . Staff was honest as well about mismatch payment and resolve the issues in no time .

On the day we left, our flight was late in the day. We checked out of the room and not only could we store our bags upfront, but they had a room where we could shower and change clothes before heading to the airport, all at no additional charge. Talk about service!!
